Dying Hair Again !? Please Help.?

hello (: so before i ask my question i'm going to tell you about the past of my hair . i was born with dark brown hair & about a year ago i dyed it red ( like a dark brown red ) then i bleached it & it came out a light brown color after the red faded off a bit then i dyed it back to black . so now my hair is back to dark brown , the color grew out & i want to dye it red again . i know that i would have to lighten my hair but how should i do it ? also should i add a creme developer? helpppp!
