Where could I have gotten papilloma?

Theres a growth in the back of my throat next to the tonsils, and it looks like a papilloma, even though it is smooth and skin colored...is this HPV? I've never had any kind of sex or kissed anyone, or do I have any family history. The lump has been there for years...How could I have gotten HPV? Could this lump be anything else besides a papilloma? (it looks smooth, skin colored, soft, and hangs in almost a teardrop shape.) THanks!
