I've found a small lump in my testicle?

about three weeks ago i found a tiny pimple-sized lump on my right testicle, i was freaked out at first, but my dad explained that it was perfectly harmless, it's still there and i was wondering if someone with personal experience could answer this question for me, i know it isn't the big C as im only 13.
