What happens when you dye your hair with henna and then use a normal hair dye?

I dyed my hair with black henna (hennecolor) about 4-5 weeks ago, and now my hair looks almost like before the dying...can I put on it a chemical hair dye? (L'Or�al Paris Casting Creme Gloss: ammonia-free hair colour)
