SC Poll - At what stage do you reckon 'out-sourcing' becomes 'outrageous sauce' ?

I had a similar phone call, but gave them no information & called the company and found out it was not anyone from that company who called, but perhaps a telemarketer or worse. I know our power company here is going to SmartMeters so they can eliminate meter readers altogether. Yet more jobs lost due to technology.
